Hazelnut Mocha Frappe Smoothie Recipe

If you love coffee, you know that hazelnut pair really well with it, right? That’s why it’s one of the most popular flavored coffees in the world. We agree!  This is why we created Zenberry Holy Frappe. Like hazelnut, chocolate (mocha) goes so well with all things coffee, too so it was a no-brainer when it came to creating a formula with organic espresso beans roasted right here in NYC.  Delicious coffee and chocolate, a dash or organic cinnamon and all of the healthy superfoods, probiotics, enzymes, vegan protein to give your body all it needs (besides the kick of caffeine, right?).

Hazelnuts not only taste great but they are packed with nutrition.  Healthy fats and fiber help keep you fuller longer. This little nut is high in magnesium (something nearly all Americans are deficient), Vit E, oleic acid, mangenese as well as lots of protein (20g per 100g) to keep you healthy and fit. Today’s recipe adds some delicious hazelnuts to your healthy delicious morning smoothie.  Enjoy!

RECIPE:

  • 10 oz coconut milk
  • 2 TBSP Zenberry Holy Frappe Superfood powder
  • 10 hazelnuts
  • 1 frozen banana (for a thicker smoothie)
  • 1-2 medjool dates
  • Optional: top with raw cacao nibs for extra chocolate crunch

Blend in a high-power blender until smooth.  You can add ice when blending to make it thicker.
