Cinnamon Fig Zenberry Smoothie Recipe
This smoothie is my latest craze. I made it at Zenberry demo in December
and everyone raved about it. It is a wonderful winter smoothie, too. It has the right amount of healthy fat with the almond butter, and a warming
kick with the cayenne pepper, ginger and cinnamon spices. Finally, using
dried figs is relevant for this season.
You can soak the dried fig(s) in your smoothie water over night for added sweetness and a smoother blend but it is not a prerequisite for this smoothie to be delicious.
- 1 cup filtered/spring water
- 2 TBSP Zenberry Greens
- 1 TBSP almond butter
- 1 banana
- 2-3 dried figs
- 1 inch piece of ginger (peeled)
- 1/2 TSP cinnamon
- pinch of cayenne pepper
Blend in high-powered blender and top with cacao nibs and almonds if you like. Enjoy and let us know what you think.
